This is a beautifully framed French lithograph depicting hounds and game birds in the French countryside

Framed within a dark wood Adirondack frame which has a beautiful texture and a gorgeous sheen, this is an original old French book plate, from c 1880

Written across the bottom of the lithograph:
‘Dogs and game, By Desportes (about AD 1700), Showing the early Foxhound and Pointer cross in France’.

Wonderful amongst books & on the wall in the study... or kitchen; city or country home

11” W x 13.25” H x 1” D Framed dimensions
In excellent antique condition, as found; framed under glass, lovely textured / detailed frame | Ready to hang
