Stanley is known for his impressionistic style landscapes, water and mountain scape paintings in Ontario cottage country, Alberta and the Quebec Laurentians where he painted travelling through Canada in the 1920’s - 40’s
Painting is original oil on board and is signed by artist in the lower left hand corner and there is an original pencil notation on the back which reads:
