This is an original antique landscape oil painting by WELL LISTED AND COLLECTED Canadian painter William Stanley (1900 - 1949)
Stanley is known for his impressionistic style landscapes, water and mountain scape paintings in Ontario, Alberta and the Quebec Laurentians where he painted, travelling through Canada in the 1920’s - 40’s
Painting is original oil on panel and is signed by artist in the lower left hand corner and there is an original typed notation on the back which reads:
