LARGE ANTIQUE CECILWARE SILVER PLATED HOTEL WATER / COFFEE PITCHER C 1920-1940
Here’s a lovely antique Cecilware silver plated octagonal shaped water &/or coffee pitcher; undermarked ‘LH CECILWARE’ c 1920 - 1940
Cecilware was founded in 1911 in New York by brothers Leopold and William Cecil.
Cecilware Corp., specialized in food service specifically in coffee brewing products.
This particular piece has a lightly polished silver patina and a tall faceted octagonal profile ideal for a generous bouquet of fresh cut flowers… well suited to long stem full blown blooms
Pitcher is heavy and stands level; sturdy enough for thicker foliage & possibly branches or greenery
9“ W spout to handle x 4” D at opening x 9.5“ H
Overall condition is very good, as found, NOTE: Age related periodic tarnishing & a few subtle scratches in spots commensurate with age, could be polished for higher sheen | holds water
