This piece is a good scale and has a soft calm presence; it depicts an historic bridge scene whose famed location is identified in a written caption attached to the reverse back paper that reads:
‘KEY TO THE HIGHLANDS’ was once this old bridge over the Forth at Stirling.
For centuries it was the only escape route for clansmen fleeing north.’
Custom framed by ‘H Campbell, Tide Winds Gallery Grafton Village Inn Grafton Ontario’, which was built in 1833
Painting is professionally framed under glass with a wide width mat and toffee toned wooden frame with inset green banding
