This is a large antique Lipton’s tea tin with incredible scenic panel imagery on all four sides & intricate gold/black/green art nouveau borders & scrolling lid border design
On the lid reads:
‘Thomas J. Lipton’ Tea Planter Ceylon; Tea Merchant by Special appointment to his majesty King George V., H.M. The king of Spain, T.M the King & Queen of Italy and H.I.M. The German Emperor
Tin has original hinged lid that fits snugly over existing base; lovely colours on this piece!

In excellent vintage condition, as found; gorgeous old patina, general wear throughout with surface blemishes as can be expected with age & use; tin is odour free
