A lovely & rare to find midcentury art pottery seated fawn by Beswick Pottery England

This particular design was by Arthur Gredingham who was a ‘highly influential designer’ for Beswick Pottery known for realistic animal figurines. He helped define Beswick’s ‘golden age’ of pottery.

A beautiful piece of figural pottery in the best rich brown glazed finish with pretty confetti pastels base | c 1939 - 1954

Bottom stamped with BESWICK 721 MADE IN ENGLAND
