A RARE FIND!
This is an antique Chinese Famille Rose hand painted porcelain bowl
Lovely turquoise glazed interior and hand painted outer panels with various figures
(a rooster… and possibly a dragon… & butterflies) and florals which were representative of
different things such as longevity, purity, prosperity, etc.
Shapely octagonal form with a short foot this bowl is absolutely lovely!
Beautiful ring catch…
6” D x 1.75” H
In very good antique condition for its age; as found; some signs of wear and previous use,
no chips or cracks, one barely visible hairline that is not a crack *please see photos
